Hacking Parkinson's
While there currently is no cure for Parkinson's Disease, students at Northern New Mexico college are collaborating with high school students in Española, NM on technology being being developed at Stanford University. The Parkinson's Glove provides temporary relief to patients by emitting random vibrations into the fingertips. The glove can help alleviate some symptoms of the disease for patients like Santa Fe resident Eduardo Zambrano.
