Emotional Times As We Pick Up The Van From The Shipping Port - Our Van Life Europe Adventure Begins!

Nothing about RORO shipping our van to Europe has been easy. It was been nerve racking, expensive, emotional and a true exercise in patience. As the cargo ship with our van gets closer we have to drive from northern France and into Antwerp, Belgium to pick up our self converted van that we have called home for almost five years. The van has been on the on the ship for almost 4 weeks and even though we secured the house portion of the van, we were forced to give them the keys. Our home and belongings are in the hand of the shipping company. We couldn't be more nervous as we get the call and race to the port to pick up our van and begin our exciting van life adventure through Europe.
