Polske från Skallsjö - fläckpolska

This polska has been given by word to Ingela and Gert Eriksson, as descriptions and instructions by Laura Johansson from Skallsjö. She was taught this polska by her mother. Laura was never documented on film, so the information we base this video on are those given to Ingela and Gert by Laura. She said that dancing the polska was like "grinding pepper". We are delighted to share this first video from our DVD compilation where we present fläckpolskor and engelskor from southern Västergötland, Sweden.
