Officers from the Main Directorate for Economic Security and Combating Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, together with the Economic Security Service of the Federal Security Service of Russia, have detained two Moscow entrepreneurs suspected of large-scale fraud. Posing as trusted representatives of high-ranking officials of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, they promised the heads of commercial organizations guaranteed victory in auctions for the right to conclude major government contracts in exchange for a cash reward of 15 percent of the contract value.
