C6 Quadriplegic - Review of the Buddy Button to Operate the SmartDrive
Hello YouTube! In this video I review the new Buddy Button from Permobil. The Buddy Button was provided as a replacement to the recently recalled Speed Control Dial to operate the SmartDrive on a manual wheelchair. As a quadriplegic with limited hand dexterity, the speed control dial was a way for me to control/operate the SmartDrive in a manner that made me feel comfortable and more independent using power assist. At first I was upset when the speed control dial was recalled, but pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get comfortable with the new buddy button.
