Exploring The LARGEST Indigenous Market in Otavalo, Ecuador - What to Buy, Do, and See?

In today's video, I will be traveling to the largest indigenous market in Otavalo, Ecuador. Otavalo is a town in the Andean highlands in the Imbabura province of northern Ecuador. It’s surrounded by volcanoes including the Imbabura Volcano. It's known for its Otavalo Market in the central Plaza de Ponchos, where traditionally clad indigenous townspeople sell colorful textiles and handicrafts. Nearby, the Tejidos El Obraje Museum has textile exhibits and weaving demonstrations. It is also home to the San Pablo Lake or San Pablo Laguna as well as Cuicocha volcano. From our hotel in Quito, Ecuador (Suites Metroplo), I headed to Otavalo Market Ecuador. Located in the heart of Ecuador, Otavalo is just short of 100km away from Quito to the north. We also passed Guayabamba, Ecuador. Along the way, we had the opportunity to stop and enjoy the delicious Cherimoya fruits.
