It’s Monday, 22nd June 2026, at 07:46! Mark has just been dropped off, and off he goes on his merry way! 👋 So I'm now en route to the college in Dorchester to get Leona dropped off. I do have two packages to send, but after last week's absolute chaos with no working printer, I am taking them directly to Halstock Post Office on the route home today! 📦🏤 The sky is a brilliant blue, and the mercury is really starting to rise! 🌡️☀️ I left Sherborne and headed towards Longburton with the AC already blowing hard—it is a very comfortable drive for now! ❄️ I was heading up towards Hendover Coppice on the approach to Lyons Gate when I noticed an oncoming car flash their lights at me. I wondered what was up, so I continued to drive with extra caution... and quickly found a white car completely broken down on the hill, right in the middle of a BEND! ⚠️🚗 The family was standing in the road on the opposite side waving at people to slow down. NO warning triangle behind the car isn't this part of everyone's car kit!? Anyway I managed to squeeze past safely and continued on my journey. From there, it was a pretty free run! Okay, yeah, there was some traffic on the A37, but just the normal amount. 🚙 We turned off into School Lane, following a bright red coach all the way through Bradford Peverell. 🚌 It eventually turned off, and I continued straight up the hill towards Dorchester and Leona's college! 🏫🎒 Coming around a country lane bend to find a broken-down car is always a massive heart-in-mouth moment! ⚠️😨 Have you ever broken down in a seriously awkward spot and had to play traffic director?
