Hear the beginning of our patient Gabrielle’s story as she recalls her talus replacement, the first ever performed at HSS, by Dr. David S. Levine nearly 15 years ago. When facing amputation after a car accident, Gabrielle chose the experimental procedure route with Dr. Levine. Now, she is looking to remove the implant by undergoing a fusion and limb lengthening surgery with both Dr. Levine and Dr. S. Robert Rozbruch to get rid of lingering pain.
