Thomas Dambo’s Giants of Mandurah

Welcome back. Thanks for joining in to experience the art installations known as the Giants of Mandurah. These larger than life art installations are the concept of the leading recycling artist based in Denmark, Europe. Thomas Dambo, the artist, chose the locations as their significance ties into Indigenous essence in the areas of where each Giant resides. Greater detail of the artist as well as information on each giant can be found in the websites listed below. https://www.giantsofmandurah.com.au/ https://thomasdambo.com/ Filming of each art installation had many challenging and difficult obstacles as some Giants are some are in close proximity of vegetation, very windy days affecting drone stability and at times highly contrasting light condition resulting in low grade unfavourable film footage. Many trips out and reshoots were undertaken. Approximately 85 percent of the video was shot by means of a drone. Equipment used for filming: Mavic 2 Pro Mavic mini 2 Zenmuse X3 camera Canon SX 740 HS Canon SX 70 HS No filter or special effects were used.
