Train S4 Prague Bubny - Řež n. S8646

New modern trains: From 2024 and 2025, Czech Railways will deploy new RegioPanter electric units on the entire S4/U4 line. These trains offer air conditioning, Wi-Fi, charging sockets for electronics and fully barrier-free access, which significantly increases the comfort of passengers from Kralupy and the surrounding area to Prague. High capacity: During peak hours, these new trains run in pairs, offering a seating capacity of up to 480. Closure and new stations: In 2025–2026, the Prague-Bubny section of the line is undergoing modernization, which changes the train routing and introduces a new stop Prague-Výstavistě. Connection with 409: Trains on this line are integrated into PID and closely follow suburban buses, such as line 409.
