Oludeniz Babadag Cable Car | Turkey | Full trip to the top of Babadag mountain at 1800 metres!

A wander and cable car trip up the Babadag mountain in Oludeniz, Turkey. We'll jump in the cable car at the main station at the bottom of the mountain and then have a full tour to the top of Babadag mountain whilst taking in the beautiful Turkish scenery. We'll see mountains, beaches, paragliders, towns, hotels and the Blue Lagoon in Oludeniz, all from the dizzying heights of the cable car! Once we get to the 1700 metre point, we'll exit the cable car and have a look at the stunning views from the viewing platform which gives an unprecedented view of the surrounding area. We'll then jump on the ski lift for the last 100 metre journey to the top of mount Babadag at 1800 metres. From here you'll see some amazing views as we travel the last step of the journey as we are totally unhindered by the glass of the cable car. The ski lift is basically just an open air floating seat! Gulp! The main cable car journey takes around 20-30 mins and the ski lift journey takes about 5-10, depending on any stoppages. (We had one stop. Don't be scared! It's most likely to help older/disabled people into the cable car carriages) Once at the top, we'll watch the paragliders take off from the paragliding platform that is specifically designated for them to use. You'll see these brave souls running and jumping off the edge of the platform runway and floating into the air to view the stunning surrounding views. You'll see solo paragliders and also tandem paragliders, which is the main use as tourists can just go up and paraglide with a professional without having to learn how to do it. There's a toilet and restaurant at the top of the mountain where you can relax and have a cup of tea or coffee with some of the best views available in Turkey! We'll then head back down to the 1700 metre level to watch a few more paragliders taking off from the alternative platform, heading directly towards the Oludeniz Blue Lagoon!
