Ask Me Anything: Living with Bipolar | World Bipolar Day

In honor of World Bipolar Day, I’m doing a live AMA about living with bipolar! A little bit about me: I’ve been diagnosed with bipolar 1 for 27 years. I work full-time, I’ve been married to a neurotypical for 15 years, and we have a 10-year-old daughter. I’ve seen it all—years of extreme high and lows with little stability, and years mostly symptom free. Loneliness. Self-stigma. External stigma. Plans to end my life. Also contentment and loving my life. Don’t be shy. Ask the hard questions. Mundane questions. The uncomfortable ones. The things people usually avoid. -Jess VIDEOS AND INFO MENTIONED How I STOP HYPOMANIA (Sometimes) by Tracking Hypomania Warning Signs in Bipolar Disorder    • How I STOP HYPOMANIA (Sometimes) by Tracki...   Supporting a Loved One with Mental Illness: Essential Tips and Strategies w/ Christina Mitchell    • Supporting a Loved One with Mental Illness...   My FIRST Full-Blown Manic Episode | Bipolar Diagnosis Story | Psychosis    • My FIRST Full-Blown Manic Episode | Bipola...   Lithium and pregnancy: https://medsafe.govt.nz/profs/PUArtic...
