Mid Hill Highway Project / Pushpalal Highway The 20 year road policy has aimed at connecting all district headquarters by road and to construct: i) East West Highway ii) Mid Hill East West Highway and iii) upgradation of postal roads in terai to develop as highway. Under this policy, Government of Nepal (GON) has initiated the Mid Hill Highway project to implement from the fiscal year 2064/065. The length of Mid Hill Highway (MHH) is 1776 Km approximately. Although, some stretches of the highway is constructed as different road projects in the past but a thorough highway running east to west has been envisaged under this plan. Already constructed stretches as part of different highway projects need further improvement to bring the road into set standards of the highway. Unopened stretches are to be planned as new construction meeting the required standards. Pushpalal Highway (NH03) (previously: H18) (Nepali: पुष्पलाल लोकमार्ग, Puṣpalāl Lōkamār is an ongoing road project in Nepal, which is thought to be 1,776 kilometres (1,104 mi) long. After completion, it will be the longest national highway of Nepal. Nepal has three geographical regions from east to west, plain land or Terai in south, higher mountains or Himalayas in north and hills in middle region. The highway runs through the mid-hills region only. It starts from easternmost hill at Chiyo Bhanjyang of Panchthar District (Koshi province) and ends at westernmost hill at Jhulaghat of Baitadi District in far west (Sudurpashchim Province). In this episode i started my journey from Bidur Nuwakot to Samari Nuwakot. Continue my journey to Bharang Bhurung the boarder of Dhading & Nuwakot district. After that i reached Katunge with best black topped road. after that take down to khahare dhading. after reaching Tripurasundari Dhading then take right for salyantar.
