Welcome back to our Greece motorhome adventure! This week we arrive in the beautiful seaside town of Nafplion, one of the most picturesque destinations in the Peloponnese. We stay overnight at what we think is the perfect free port park-up, with stunning harbour views and an ideal location for exploring the town on foot. We wander through Nafplion's charming old streets, admire the colourful waterfront, and take a boat trip across the bay to the historic Bourtzi Castle, one of Greece's most recognisable island fortresses. On our way to Ancient Mycenae, we make a fascinating stop at the Silo Art Factory, where we discover a treasure trove of art and giant sculptures adding another unexpected hidden gem to our Greece road trip. Our journey then continues to the legendary archaeological site of Ancient Mycenae, where we step back over 3,000 years to explore one of the most important cities of ancient Greece. From the famous Lion Gate to the incredible history of King Agamemnon and the Mycenaean civilisation, it's a fascinating stop on our Greece road trip.
