Food For Thought Live: Peter Egan
I'm honoured to be joined by a dear friend, the great actor and, above all, tireless advocate for animals, Peter Egan. An actor of national treasure status, between starring in some of the most popular and successful shows on TV including After Life 2 and Downton Abbey, Peter lends his unwavering support and powerful voice to Animals Asia, Nowzad, Save The Asian Elephants, Compassion in World Farming, the fight to end the cage age and live transportation, to ban trophy hunting, foie gras and greyhound racing, to promote Veganuary, to maintain the ban on fox hunting and so much more, the list really does go on and on. Peter is a true animal hero, he leads the way, shining his increasingly bright light on every injustice he discovers, setting an example of love, compassion and empathy for us all to learn from and follow.
