Is the GameMT EX8 the New King of Budget Power Android Handhelds? No. But It's Pretty Sweet!

!This video is an in-depth review of the GameMT EX8 Android retro handheld, welcome (0:00 - 0:30) intro 0:31- 0:42 a budget device that has become a personal favorite for me due to its performance, style, and battery life. It features a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and active cooling 0:45 - 0:53 . Color comparison with 476h 4:06 - 4:45 Key Features & Highlights: Design & Feel: It has a light metal streamlined frame with a glass front, feeling very solid and less rattly than competitors like the RG505 (0:23 - 0:25, 10:38 -10:45). Display: A 1080p IPS touch screen with a 3x2 aspect ratio, which is ideal for upscaling Game Boy Advance games (4:52 - 5:12). Performance: The device is capable of running the entire GameCube library-ish (Rogue Squadron 2 with hybrid ubershaders but 3 was a no go) , a good amount of PS2 games at native resolution with my custom NetherSX2 settings as seen in my 476h video; and Android titles at max settings (6:50 - 7:05). Battery Life: Offering exceptional battery life, such as 13-17 hours for GBA and 5-7 hours for GameCube 7-8 for PSP and 5 hours average for ps2 (1:51- 2:09). Comparisons: It is positioned as a budget powerhouse compared to the Anbernic RG505 (1:14 -1:18 , 2:50 - 2:52). While it compares favorably to the RG Vita Pro, the Anbernic 476H still offers significantly higher raw performance, the 476h and EX8 both have mali-g57 gpu's, the differencd is the "mc2" and "mc,4" designation in the title, it shows how many cores the gpu has. so the RG vita pro, while being on older g-52 architecture, it has 3 cores to the EX8's 2, so it gets about 25% more performance overall but the G99 can outperform it in CPU tasks. Verdict: I highly recommend the EX8, even if you already own other budget devices, due to its ergonomics and premium feel for the price, it's style, and sturdy design instantly won me over, this was originally just a placeholder until my Ayaneo Pocket S2 gets here (10:54 -10:59).
