3 miners remain trapped at Sibanye-Stillwater Mine
Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe is expected at the Sibanye Stillwater Mine in Carletonville on Friday evening following the deaths of four miners. This as the search continues for three others who remain trapped underground following a seismic event on Thursday. Rescue operations were halted for over an hour today, after two more tremors. In 2017, seismic events contributed towards thirty percent of the deaths in the mining sector. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
