Classic TV Themes: Baywatch Nights (3 Themes • Full Stereo)

A spin-off from Baywatch (obviously) this 1995 series had Sgt Ellerbe (Gregory Alan Williams) and Mitch (David Hasselhoff) opening up a detective agency, with Angie Harmon as the third member of the team. Lou Rawls played a singer who owned the local nightclub. They made adjustments halfway through the season but the format never clicked. So for its second season, producers refashioned the spin-off into a paranormal thriller, dropping Ellerbe and Rawls while adding Dorian Gregory as an expert in the supernatural. That didn't work either but Angie did go on to better things. The show used three themes over its two seasons: Theme 1: 'After the Sun Goes Down' (Richard Feldman, Mark Holden, David Hasselhoff), sung by Lou Rawls. Theme 2: 'Into the Night' (Mark Holden, David Hasselhoff), performed by David Hasselhoff.
