Today on AroundMeBD, our amazing village ladies cooked a massive traditional village feast using fresh raw jackfruits collected directly from a giant tree and around 40KG of broiler chicken! 🍗🌿 At first, the ladies collected nearly 30 pieces of raw jackfruit from a huge village jackfruit tree. Then they prepared about 40KG of large broiler chickens and cut them into small pieces. After that, the jackfruits were cleaned carefully and the edible inner portions were separated for cooking. The chicken was cooked with various traditional Bangladeshi spices in a giant pot until perfectly roasted and flavorful. In another large pot, the raw jackfruit pieces were boiled with turmeric and salt. Later, the boiled jackfruit was cooked again with rich spices, and finally the delicious roasted chicken was mixed into the jackfruit curry. Alongside this amazing curry, large amounts of white rice were cooked and served together. After finishing all the cooking, the village ladies invited everyone from the village to sit together and enjoy the meal.
