In this video, I will share three CSAT math mock exam routines that I actually used to climb from a Grade 5 math level to a Grade 1 level. When Grade 1 and Grade 2 math students solve problems on a mock exam, the first thing they look at is not "How do I solve this?" but "Where do I solve it?" No matter how difficult a CSAT math problem may look, there are typically only about 3 to 4 specific points where calculations occur—that is, singularities. If you grasp these singularities first, even students in grades 3, 4, and 5 can establish a starting point for solving the problem. The routine for CSAT math mock exams shared in today's video is as follows: 1. Don't worry about how to solve it; decide where to solve it first. 2. Don't look at the question all at once; break it down. 3. Completely separate the calculation process from the result. If you are a student aiming for a Grade 1 in math, a student determined to reach at least Grade 2, a student stuck at Grade 3, or a student in Grades 4 or 5 whose mental state crumbles whenever they take a CSAT math mock exam, you must try following this routine. CSAT math is not solved with vague mathematical thinking skills. You need a mechanical routine that you can repeat exactly as you see fit in the exam room. Students who always run out of time on math mock exams, students who get stuck starting from questions 11 through 15, students who are unable to apply what they have learned to mock exams, and students who want to move up from a Grade 3, 4, or 5 to a Grade 1 or 2 in math—please watch this video until the end.
