Drive to Lake Arrowhead, CA 01/23/2021

Took a drive up to Lake Arrowhead, CA. Traffic wasn’t too bad in the morning but when I was leaving, traffic was backed up before the check point. Chain control is in effect. They made quite a few cars turn around that didn’t have chains. I have 4x4 with A/T that are snow rated, however, they did ask if I’m carrying chains. They didn’t visually check if I had them, but doesn’t mean they won’t in the future. So plan accordingly. I left around 1 pm and the snow was coming down pretty good. Please drive safe.
