On the program for this episode of "History of Strolling": On the program: The Farrier: It's at the Haras de la Haute Fontaine stud farm in Moulicent that Vincent will discover the farrier's trade. Alexandre Martinez travels extensively throughout Normandy and France, even going as far as Guadeloupe to shoe horses! He makes his own horseshoes. For several years, he has been passing on the forgotten knowledge of this profession to Thomas Meunier, his apprentice. The Artistic Blacksmith: Roland Fornari has been an artistic blacksmith for 30 years. At 65, he considers himself a creator, not a craftsman. He works mainly restoring iron objects in the Perche region and enjoys sharing his knowledge with apprentices. The Taxidermist: Karine and Jacky Viel are both taxidermists. They have owned the Perche tannery in Tourouvre since 2004 and carry out all the necessary steps of taxidermy themselves: from preparing the animal's hide to molding and decorating.
