In this episode, we are continuing the preparation work required to remove our 1996 coupe's sagging headliner by dropping both sun visors out of the roof structure. While the assemblies are out of the car, we take the opportunity to look at two incredibly common platform issues: repairing a loose or floppy vanity mirror cover flap that won't hold itself open, and upgrading the incredibly dim 3-watt factory bulbs to modern 31mm festoon LEDs. We share a critical technical warning explaining why simple LED swaps continuously blow the 5-amp F16 cabin fuse, how to isolate the circuits from the factory foil backing, and how to verify correct polarity on the workbench.
