We're still just beginning to uncover all the problems at Villa Destino, and this time the scare came in the early hours of the morning. While we were sleeping, a huge amount of water started pouring down from the top of the house, right from one of the corners of the roof. There's a tank above the house that collects rainwater from the area, and everything pointed to something having gone wrong. At that hour, with the house still without power and half the project still to be discovered, all we could do was record what was happening and wait for dawn to climb onto the roof and see where the water was actually coming from. In the morning, it was time to investigate the problem, find a solution, and move forward. But the renovation of our abandoned mountain house doesn't stop there. In this third episode of Villa Destino, we also begin emptying the house of all the junk that has accumulated over the years. Little by little, we're reclaiming space, discovering everything that needs cleaning, and understanding the true magnitude of the work ahead of us. Furthermore, we've begun preparing the first seedbeds to bring the land to life and start building more than just a house: a home in the middle of the mountains, made with our own hands. We have no experience in renovations. We don't know everything we're going to encounter. And every week a new problem arises. But we keep moving forward.
