A very special feature is that the old pictures taken in this temple in 2016, ten years ago, have been searched for and included in this video. Firstly, the history of this site has been created with some AI images. If any different scenes are included in this, do not exaggerate it. Just listen to and enjoy the historical information. Following that, scenes of 'then' and 'now' are depicted. Be happy to watch. A small village located in the embrace of mountains and in the sweet lap of nature, that is Munipuram. This beautiful village, which has only 30 houses. It can be said that it is a small heaven mixed with peace and spirituality. The main livelihood of the people of Munipuram is agriculture. These people, who live trusting the rain and trusting the soil, have found true happiness in simple life. In the southern part of this village, there is an ancient natural cave on the mountain. This cave, which has been attracting devotees and nature enthusiasts for many centuries, is considered to be ancient and full of spiritual glories. Near the cave, a natural spring that does not dry up throughout the year is found. This spring water is revered by devotees as sacred. Therefore, many people call it Nagatheertham, Ramatheertham, Namatheertham with devotion. In ancient times, local legends say that Jains and Buddhist monks and various sages performed penance on this mountain. In their memory, the belief that this area began to be called Munipuram still prevails among the villagers. After Munipuram, it changed to Munipalli and Mudipalli. Devotees decided to build steps for this mountain temple without a path. For this, they collected funds and started the work. Because it required a large amount of funds, they started this renovation thinking that they could build 100 steps as much as possible. During this work, a severe financial crisis occurred at one point. A situation arose where laborers engaged in the work of constructing steps could not be paid wages. The temple administrator stood distraught, unaware of what to do. He made efforts everywhere for financial assistance. Then, he was about to ask a relative for a loan. He also brought the amount asked by the manager. When the manager tried to take the amount, he received a phone call from somewhere. A devotee came to that invitation. Do you know why that devotee spoke to the administrator? That is the specialty. The administrator says it is the glory of the Lord. The devotee who came on a phone call has stated that he will donate one lakh rupees to this temple as a donation. What next? Without taking any loans, with the devotees' financial donation, the temple has been completely constructed with marble stones. Is that all? Electric lights were installed in the temple and on the steps. Like this, the service of the devotees who contribute to the development of this temple is immense. All of this is the will of Lord Shiva. Thousands of devotees from the surrounding villages come here every year during Mahashivaratri and the two Pradosha festivals held at the Nagalingeshwarar Temple in Mudipalli Annapoorani. At that time, special abhishekams and devotional programs are held grandly. Furthermore, during the Pournami special puja, which is held every month as a special festival, hundreds of devotees perform special aaradhana and abhishekams here. It is noteworthy that the pooja, which begins at 6 PM on the day of Pournami, continues until 10 PM. The village that holds nature, spirituality, and tradition together is Munipuram. For those who move away from the hustle and bustle of city life and seek peace of mind, this stands as a rare treasure. Munipuram. A sacred village protected by mountains. May it always flourish and shine with glory by the grace of Annapoorni Sametha Nagalingeshwarar. Om Namah Shivaya. So far, we have seen about the history of the Mudipalli spiritual place called Munipuram.
