Kelowna to Penticton Bike Ride on the KVR...or so we thought

From Kelowna to Penticton on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. Don't underestimate this ride. It was the worst hill I've ever experienced, and my road tires were not well suited for the lack of maintenance on this section of the KVR where there's lots of soft sand. We ultimately bailed on the KVR and used forestry roads to take us down into Penticton. If I were to do this again, it would have to be on an e-mountain bike. The ride suddenly became better after getting off the KVR and descending back into the valley, being one of my favourite descents of the year.
