YKS 2026 Sonuçları Açıklandı: Sıralamanız Ne Anlama Geliyor?

The 2026 YKS (University Entrance Exam) results have been announced. In this live broadcast, we'll be discussing how to read your ranking rather than your score, what OBP (Overall Success Score) and placement rank mean, and what steps you should take now during the university selection period. How to read the 2026 YKS results document? Is the score or the ranking more important? Why is it wrong to compare the 2025 and 2026 scores? Should a student who gets a lower-than-expected result immediately decide to take a gap year? According to the 2026 data released by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center): • Approximately 2,255,000 candidates took the TYT (Basic Proficiency Test). • Approximately 1,473,000 candidates' exams were deemed valid in the AYT (Advanced Proficiency Test). • The average TYT basic mathematics score was 6.4 out of 40 questions. • The average AYT mathematics score was 7.1 out of 39 questions. • The average TYT science score was 3.9 out of 20 questions. These figures show that the feeling many students experience, "My exam went completely wrong," needs to be re-evaluated within the overall candidate distribution. What to do until the 2026 preference guide is released Live Q&A Since the 2026 preference guide has not yet been published, we will not make any definitive statements about acceptance or rejection for any university or department in this broadcast. We will make detailed comparisons with 2025 data when the guide and new quotas are announced. New live broadcasts will be held on the analysis of results during the YKS 2026 preference period, numerical and equal weight departments, two-year programs, state-private university comparison, and preference list preparation.
