Hearing 27 MHz SSB on cheap walkie talkies (BFO with 4 MHz ceramic resonator)

A 4 MHz ceramic resonator, perhaps surprisingly, can be used as a signal frequency BFO on 27 MHz. This allows reception of SSB signals on an AM superregenerative receiver, even a kids walkie talkie. Stability isn't the best but refinement should be possible. Here I present circuits for two versions.
