Kairi Ki Khatti Meethi Chutney Recipe | Summer Special

Ingredients 2 kg raw mangoes (kairi) 500 gm sugar 4 cloves ½ tsp kalonji (nigella seeds) 1 tsp salt 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp chopped garlic 1 tsp red chili powder 250 gm oil Method Heat oil in a pan and add cloves. Roast the cloves until they become crispy and fragrant. Now add kalonji and mix well. Add chopped garlic, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Sauté everything together. Add a little water so the spices do not burn. When the masala is well cooked, add the raw mangoes and mix properly. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium-low flame. Now add 500 gm sugar and mix again. Do not add any extra water because the sugar will release moisture, and the mangoes will cook in it. Cook for another 10 minutes on medium-low flame. Remove the lid and sauté for 2 more minutes. Your delicious Khatti Meethi Kairi Ki Chutney is ready to serve! Enjoy it with khichdi, daal chawal, or paratha of your choice.
