Auf der Suche nach dem Zunderschwamm - Feuermachen mit Schlageisen und Feuerstein

The tinder fungus grows on the trunks of weakened deciduous trees, especially beech and birch. In the past, its cap flesh was used to make clothing, and soaking it in a saltpeter solution (among other things) produced long-lasting tinder. It is also known as a medicinal mushroom. In this video, we'll explore the tinder fungus. We'll try to ignite it with flint and steel, using as little processing as possible. Will we succeed? As always, we hope you enjoy the video and trying it out yourself. If you have any experience with the tinder fungus, we would be happy if you would share it with us. That way, we can all learn something. Thank you! ...
