Yamaha Harmony Director HD-200

The Yamaha Harmony Director HD-200 is a comprehensive educational musical instrument developed with a theme "How one can give highly concentrated training efficiently within a limited time." This tool brings harmony training, tempo checking and rhythm training together in one convenient device. Easy operation is one of key design factors along with functional improvement. The HD-200 powerfully assists players and teachers in areas including wind bands, orchestras, ensembles and choruses. The HD-200 was honored with the 18th Academy Award (production category) by Academic Society of Japan for Winds Percussion & Band (A.S.J.W.P.B) and the 2007 Good Design Award presented by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization (JIDPO). *This video was shot in 2008.
