【深谷七夕祭り2026】歴史ある宿場町が七夕一色！第76回 深谷七夕まつりを街歩き！

I went to the *76th Fukaya Tanabata Festival* held in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture! The Fukaya Tanabata Festival is a traditional summer festival that carries on the history of a post town from the Edo period. Along the old Nakasendo road, the festival venue, colorful, creative bamboo decorations and giant decorative balls, crafted with ingenuity by local shopkeepers and residents, line the streets, enveloping the entire town in the spirit of Tanabata. Furthermore, the *Fukaya Tanabata Grand Prize* is held, where visitors can vote for their favorite decorations, making it an attractive event that can be enjoyed not only by viewing but also by participating. During the festival, parts of the old Nakasendo road and City Hall Street become pedestrian zones, lined with numerous food stalls and food trucks, creating a festive atmosphere!
