Woo Hoo! Season THREE of the TKR RadioRetro Countdown is sporting an all new look, with a new logo, all new graphics and layout, and a new but familiar theme song! Because a show about time traveling through radio charts should have an appropriate time traveling look and theme, don't you think? Heh heh... As with Season two TKRRRC will showcase FIFTY YEARS of charts, covering 1960-2010! It's also expanding worldwide, so in addition to the US and Canada, future shows will likely feature charts from the UK, Ireland, Australia, South Africa, Continental Europe, and more! And finally, you'll hear weekly charts from stations using a variety of formats - Top 40/CHR of course, but now along with Adult Contemporary/Easy Listening, Country, R&B/Soul/Rhythmic, Mainstream Rock, Alternative Rock, Contemporary Christian , and AAA stations! Wow, we're FINALLY back after a long downtime - the Wayback Van had a major vortex blowout in March, and we had to get new dilithium crystals for the vortex wormhole generator in the ol' beastie...I mean, that stuff has to come from Viridan IV, so it takes a while to get here, heh heh...and this week, with everything finally here, installed, and the van fully powered up and ready to go, we're setting the Wayback dial for the southern U.S., and a town that has a radio station that back then I would have loved listening to, quite a mix of music - rock, pop, alternative, R&B, AAA - you name it, they were playing it - it's the top 35 tunes on WMXQ-FM 94.5 in Birmingham Alabama for the week of December 1 1995! ### Doctor Who Theme Cover performed by @neonfrontier - check out his awesome music site!
