Regarding the ride comfort and drivability of the Porte's sister car, the Spade, the moment I got in, I didn't feel anything resembling a Toyota. It was a refreshing experience, both good and bad. It didn't have any sportiness at all, and the ride felt incredibly gentle. What surprised me the most was that I had passed the exact same car I drove this time quite a few times. Perhaps this car was selling quite well until a few years ago. Following in the footsteps of the Solio is fine, but I hope Toyota will once again demonstrate its freedom to create cars with a more free-thinking approach.
