Crout's Method for LU Decomposition - Numerical Methods

In this video we cover Crout's method of LU decomposition of a 3 x 3 matrix. ITS SIMPLE! STEP 1 Write out the [L] matrix and the [U] Matrix with diagonals as "1" {for [U]) and other values as unknown coefficients. STEP 2 Set your first component of your given matrix [A] equal to the product of the first row of the [L] matrix and the first column of the [U] matrix. Simply using matrix multiplication. STEP 3 solve for the unknown coefficient in the equation. STEP 4 Repeat step 2 except with the second component of the first row in the given matrix [A] and multiplying the first row of [L] now with the SECOND column of [U]. STEP 5 repeat for each unknown coefficient!
