In Week 4 of our Jehovah’s Witness study, we continue working through Reasoning from the Scriptures to answer two big questions: Is Christ inferior to the Father, and is Jesus actually Michael the Archangel? We discuss how Jesus’ “the Father is greater than I” statement fits with His humbled position during the incarnation (not a denial of His divine nature). Then we respond to JW.org’s claim that Jesus is Michael by looking at the Bible’s teaching on Christ’s supremacy over angels and His authority over Satan.
