The Grand Decline is a 9 part fan-project, split into 36 "visits", that tries to visualize the decline of mental capacity in dementia patients in the most realistic way possible. Unlike other famous fan-projects, true "post-awareness" will happen much further down the path. The patient, unaware of their condition, exists in a state of calm. Shallow deficits occur, barely affecting daily life and only slightly altering memories. Until a switch is flipped.
