In this video you will learn how to insert images in Adobe InDesign, and understand the concept of links and linked images. When inserting images in InDesign, you are actually inserting a link. A preview of the inserted file is displayed on your layout, and a link to the original image file is created. Thus, any change in the original file will automatically reflect in the linked file from your document. This allows you to perform and control changes to their way of documents more precise and practical. But be careful, the absence or exclusion of the original files inserted in your document will cause you problems. You also learn how images are inserted into frames, something very similar to the clipping mask Illustrator or CorelDRAW PowerClip, it allows you to create different results simply by changing the shape of the frame properties.
