Buttercream Splatter Technique

I used a fun technique called buttercream splatter to make this fun Saint Pattys Day cake! I also piped some buttercream four leaf clovers to climb up the cake. I topped this cake with color splash rice paper sails. You can check out that technique by visiting my "rice paper sails tutorial" here:    • Rice paper sails - cake decorating tutorial   I used acetate (for baking), also known as "cake collars", https://amzn.to/361U6Hq to apply the buttercream to the cake with. My whole theme for this cake was "At the End of the Rainbow". Check out how I made these coins on my Sonic cake tutorial here:    • SONIC The Hedgehog buttercream cake tutori...   You can have more fun with applying buttercream with acetate to cake using the "buttercream marbling technique" in this tutorial:    • Marbled buttercream cake decorating tutorial   Check out my Amazon store front for all the cake decorating supplies that I use. *earns commissions https://www.amazon.com/shop/icingonto...
