OLTL - Gabrielle Tells Bo She's Going Away (07-23-2003)

Bo and Nora find Claire dead on the side of the road. Nora tells Bo about about the videotape that Jen made, which shows Troy seducing several women, including Claire, in public places. Bo wonders why Nora is so reticent to ask Jen to bring her copy of the laptop. Later, Nora meets Gabrielle at the station and tells her about the murder and the videotape. She points out that the tape is now evidence in a homicide, and Bo needs to see it. Nora encourages Gabrielle to tell Bo before he has to see it. When Bo arrives, he and Gabrielle go into Bo's office to talk in private. Instead, Gabrielle tells Bo she has to go out of town, and Bo regrets that he can't go with her. Gabrielle sneaks into Jen's place and steals her laptop. Later, Troy arrives and finds the laptop missing but notices Gabrielle's earring on the floor. In Bo's office, he and Nora discuss cases, and Nora expresses her suspicions about Troy. Bo mentions his guilt about neglecting Gabrielle due to his job. Nora suggests he goes home and spend some extra time with her since everything is under control at the station. At the garret, Gabrielle looks at the videos Jen's laptop when Bo comes home early. She quickly hides the laptop in the desk. Bo asks Gabrielle if she is okay, noticing that she is shaking, but she brushes it off as being excited to see him. Bo points out that Gabrielle has lost an earring when the phone rings. Troy threatens Gabrielle and hangs up. Later that night, Gabrielle sneaks out and deletes the video of her and Troy from her laptop. Nora calls Gabrielle, requesting a meeting first thing in the morning with an idea about how to deal with Troy. Bo watches from the banister and questions Gabrielle about what she's doing.
