The Chechen Republic held the grand opening of a mosque for 5,000 worshippers, named in memory of the five comrades of Hero of Russia Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov. The ceremony was attended by the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov; the chairman of the North Caucasus Federal District Council of Ulama, Khozh-Akhmed Kadyrov; the advisor to the head of the Chechen Republic, Mufti of the Chechen Republic, Salah Mezhiyev; religious leaders; and other regional officials. The mosque is located on Mohammed Ali Avenue. The shrine can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers. The building is circular in shape, with five minarets symmetrically arranged around its perimeter. Each is named after one of the heroes: Khasayn, Yusup, Ramzan, Alkhazur, and Abubakar. The interior of the mosque is decorated in a unique style. All necessary amenities for parishioners have also been created: a spacious prayer hall, ablution areas, modern lighting, and climate control. Particular attention has been paid to the improvement of the surrounding area, including landscaping, designated walking areas, and parking. To mark the opening, Ramzan Kadyrov, along with his associates and prominent religious figures, performed Friday prayers at the mosque under the leadership of Khozh-Akhmed Kadyrov. Mass religious ceremonies of "dhikr" and "sag1a" were also held at the ceremony site.
