part 8 and final? I did set the Tech Costs to "90%". I call it a game here, the AI just rolled over after I got Metallurgy. I was hoping to get to (melee) Cuirassier at Rifling, oh well. I decide to spare Portugal, for now. I guess Huns are insanely good. I always just wrote them off as 2nd tier Mongols. Huns can take Cities faster and aren't reliant on Zeus wonder. I was hoping Songhai or Sweden would put up more of a fight. I feel I got more use out of the CS super units than my own super unit; maybe that's Blitz 1st vs March 1st approach (the super units get both). Ekis are very good early on, map allowing. Much better than Lumbermills and Farms en masse. I suppose they fall off around late Renaissance, but Ideology Tenets should boost them back up, if you get their, notably, Autocracy +3 Sci.
