For my cousin, Stuart Arnott. ❤️ Donate: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraisin... Subscribe for more music 🎶 Stuart is a survivor of myelofibrosis, a rare type of bone marrow cancer. While recovering from two stem cell transplants, he rediscovered his love of music and wrote A Stranger about his battle with cancer. I was so moved by his courage to turn his pain into art, I asked if I could help in any way to share his story with all of you. Stuart’s wish was for this song to help raise money for stem cell research. So here it is! Stuart dedicated his strength and passion to creating music that shows anyone else fighting that they are not alone. Hope you enjoy A Stranger 🎶 Link in bio to help us raise money for this important cause. Donate: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraisin... Join the At Home Community! (310) 496-8667 LYRICS: Our life will never be the same again Since the stranger came and brought pain Our sorrows and stress put us all to the test We fought hard and came back again At times we find it hard just to breathe And worry this world we might leave The love that we share releases some despair Down the highway of life that we lead We will stay safe and secure our own space To support and look out for our own Love’s strength and resolve will be core to our solve Til the time that the stranger has gone These times have brought so much needed change To deal with the risks and the strain Our thoughts and our prayers are with those who do care And those who won’t be here again Battles we have won and some lost But each time they come at great cost In our cities and towns there are smiles and many frowns But the tears we still see hurt the most We will stay safe and secure our own space To support and look out for our own Loves strength and resolve will be core to our solve Til the time that the stranger has gone So don’t live your life in a trance Grab hold those horns and just dance Enjoy what you’ve got And remember no matter no what In this life you get but just one chance Walk with your head held high Look up and enjoy the blue sky Fresh air and green grass might never last Just hope the stranger passes by We will stay safe and secure our own space To support and look out for our own Love’s strength and resolve will be core to our solve Til the time that the stranger has gone Til the time that the stranger has gone #AtHome #DrewScott #AStranger
