Samsung WA45T3200AW - Open Lid Attempt Fails So I Ran Self Clean With Some Towels Instead

So... Yeah, I tried to do a wash cycle with the lid open on this Samsung WA45T3200AW top-load washer, but it failed even with a lot of magnets on the magnetic locking system. Apparently, it needs more magnet power to work, so I'm assuming the lid has power magnetic power. Also, ignore any background music in the video - it wasn't planned, they just decided to play it while I was making this video, so please, YouTube, DON'T TAKE DOWN THIS VIDEO!
