There are political marketing professionals who have done excellent work and yet don't become references. The candidate won, the campaign was well done, and nobody knew about it. Good work that nobody sees doesn't build a career. In this video, I show, step by step, how to build a case study that proves what you did. Not one that tells a pretty story, but one that proves it. The difference between the two is simple: numbers. A case study without data isn't a case study, it's a story. And anyone can invent a story. To avoid abstract discussions, I anchor the entire lesson in a real case: Crivella's campaign in Rio in 2016, which I documented in an ebook. Each step of the method comes with a real number from the campaign. The proof of "less is more": on one day, nine posts reached 1.3 million people. On another, four posts reached 2.5 million. Less than half the posts, almost double the reach. That's results. And the response to Veja magazine's cover story, in the last week of the campaign: a video recorded at home, without production, published on its own platform before any other media outlet. It reached over five million people in less than 24 hours, and more than ten thousand people changed their profile picture to a filter that read "Veja lies." The attack turned into a show of force. What you take away from this video: What constitutes a case study and what doesn't. It's not a resume, it's not a client list, it's not a photo with a famous politician. Why diagnosis is a separate step from strategy, and what happens when you skip this part. How to measure results in a convincing way. Numbers convince, adjectives don't. How crisis management becomes the strongest point of your case study. The mistakes that throw away work that was good. One thing I learned: those who decide to document before executing produce a much better case study than those who try to rebuild everything afterward. Those who wait for the campaign to end to build their portfolio lose the best material along the way.
