"Snowtime, Slowtime". Comp. Noud Koevoets. Played on a Thomas Prisloe guitar from 2008.

Last January we had a lot of snow here in the Netherlands. That made it almost impossible to go on with a lot of daily business, so "showtime". I liked the title that way and kept it. This composition has been played on my "main" spruce topped guitar. While the concert Thomas Prisloe models have another headform mentioning it a Prisloe guitar might be confusing and in fact this is not an entirely Thomas Prisloe built guitar. This guitar comes from a Spanish factory that built the Pavan labelled guitars for Thomas Prisloe. As far as I know, they built 3 models: The TP-10, the TP-20 and their flagship, the TP-30. When ready they were sent to New York where Thomas Prisloe distributed them himself. Some of these high end guitars ended their journey being severely damaged during their journey overseas. For about 10 to 15 guitars, Thomas Prisloe decided to built a soundboard himself and launched them as a special model. It is also on the label: Soundboard built by Thomas Prisloe. Moreover, on the inner side the soundboard has been handsigned several times by him! I like the rather simple design Antonio de Torres already made famous and the Pavan guitar I'm playing here is equipped with that particuar headform.
