Kaipa - “Sommatgryningsljus” - NEW ALBUM REVIEW

Formed in Sweden in 1973 by keyboardist Hans Lundin who is still with the band and bassist and ex member Tomas Eriksson they currently consist of Patrik Lundstrkm and Aleena Gibson on vocals, Jonas Rheingold on Bass, Per Nilsson on guitars and Darby Todd on drums. It’s loosely a concept album based on the transition from dusk to dawn portraying the state between death and rebirth and this is reflected in the cover art which was influenced by band creator Hans Lundin who took the photography along with Bjorn Forenius, Ville Laine and Diana Siefert.
