In this episode of Itugi cia Ngogoyo, we speak to John Ndichu's parents on the life and times of this legendary musician. Famed for his ever-green hits like Mama Ciru, Cucu wa Gakunga, Uthoni wa Ndangwa, Mwendwa Veronica, Mwaria Ciene, Akinyi, Mary Mama and many more, Ndichu was born in 1957 and died in 1997 after suffering from a stroke. His condition became worse when doctors went on strike and he died two days to the 1997 general election. Ndichu's parents, now in their eighties say they have never benefitted from their son's famed music.
