By the way I’ve had a couple people talk to me recently about comments being hidden under my videos, this isn’t me, I don’t delete comments, I turn off all comment filtering when I upload these, so I’m guessing it’s something to do with YouTube. Edit of the 2014 Russian annexation of Crimea. I apologise for the super cinematic aspect ratio, this was the best I could do because of the watermarks on the footage I used. The polite people (also called little green men) were the nicknames given to the Russian soldiers in Crimea early on in the invasion, during which they did not bear any insignias connecting them to any country. The polite people name specifically came from Russian media, who named them as such due to their well-mannered behaviour towards the Crimean people. The song for this is kind of interesting too, it’s a Russian band, but the song is written and sung in English. Sorry it took a little bit to get this out, I’ve got a lot of schoolwork right now but that should clear up by the end of the week.
