Invention No. 12 remains. Level 6. Bach's Two and Three Part Inventions (BWV 772–801) are a collection of 30 short keyboard compositions. There are 15 inventions (two-part contrapuntal pieces) and 15 sinfonias (three-part contrapuntal pieces). The inventions and the sinfonias are both arranged in order of ascending key, covering 8 major and 7 minor keys.
